The National Identity Management Commission officials across the country on Thursday began a Strike Action over the fear of COVID-19 spread in the agency. The President of the Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria, NIMC unit, Asekokhai Lucky, in an interview with one of our correspondents in Abuja, said already the virus had been detected in three officials in the agency at its Headquarters.

Kaduna State Government has arraigned the Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, Abraham Alberah Catoh, whose wife Aisha Mercy Yakuba is the CEO of the demolished Asher Restaurant and Lounge, and four others for allegedly organising a party in breach of the state’s COVID-19 protocol and as well as attempted adultery.

The Police in Akwa Ibom State have arraigned the suspended Head Teacher of Deeper Life High School, Uyo, Mrs Ndidi Solomon and six others for their roles in the alleged sexual abuse and mistreatment of an 11-Year Old Pupil. They were arraigned on a four count charge bordering on Conspiracy to Commit Felony to Wit: Indecent Treatment of boys under 14 years and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 556 of the Criminal Code Cap. 38 Vol 2, Laws of Akwa Ibom State of Nigeria 2000.
